School Psychologist of the Year
Kasey Landry-Filion is the NHASP 2012 School Psychologist of the Year.  The School Psychologist of the Year award recognizes excellence in the provision of school psychological services designed to help children achieve their best in school, at home, and in life.

Kasey commitment to professional excellence extends beyond direct intervention and support for struggling students to school-wide services and practices that have improved outcomes for all children. Her leadership and collaborative expertise further advances community, school and state effort to lower barriers to success and promote practices that contribute to the success and well-being of all our children, families, and schools. At the district level is a member of the following committees: Root Cause Analysis Team, ARD SINI Restructuring Team, Assessment/Data Team, Student Assistance Team, PBIS Red Team, and Focused Monitoring. She also has played a significant role in the creation and implementation of a summer program that focusing on children with emotional/behavioral issues called Challenge by Choice.

Kasey is a highly esteemed and valued member of the Allentown School System. Colleagues described her as energetic, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, a positive role model for the students in the school and a leader. She is always willing to help teacher understand what the data is saying and how to apply it to the instruction. Regarding her practice as a School Psychologist, Kasey’s bottom line in all situations is “What is the best for the child and their education”, always choosing to do what is right for the children.

 The New Hampshire Association of School Psychologists proudly recognizes Mrs. Kasey Landry-Filion dedication to children, schools and community and her contributions to our profession.
